We are fortunate to have a very large live room and it is equipped for full band rehearsal with 300W PA, full bass rig plus drum kit (see live lounge tech spec for details). With spot-lights, the step, exposed roof beams & high ceiling, strobes & mirror ball you can make it fun or keep it serious – up to your needs.

Pre-recording rehearsals are advised helping you get used to the barns atmosphere and get into the session.

Normal practice/rehearsals are available on request – minimum 3 hours.  Contact us for details.

Alternatively the studio can be hired for writing purposes and rented for the day or weekend.  Dear Superstar hired the studio for 5 days late 2007 for writing/creative purposes and now have released an album containing mostly the material they wrote right here! They are touring this year with Papa Roach amongst others – so have a think about taking time out to get your stuff polished – it works!

Recording sound is the primary service of Born in a Barn Studio. However, after we get to know our clients, we are often asked to help out at gigs and private functions and over the years have become equipped for such occasions. If you need any assistance in fields other than just studio based recording then we are here to help.

No client is ever just run through the mill/milking parlor, as it were, and often help is just around the corner even if we can't provide it there & then.
